Common questions

Is the guide free?
Yes. All area guides are free to read. School profiles, exam dates, eligibility rules and prep advice are all publicly accessible. Detailed cut-off score history and competition ratio data require a free account.
How accurate is the data?
We research every guide from official sources: LA admissions documents, Ofsted URNs, DfE tables, and school websites. Where official figures are unavailable, we clearly label estimates from parent forums or press reports.
How often is the data updated?
Guides are reviewed each March–May when most LAs publish admissions outcomes, and again in November before applications open. All data is timestamped so you can see when it was last checked.
What is the 11+ Practice Platform?
The platform is a structured 16-week study programme with AI-generated 11+ practice questions, weekly mocks and progress tracking. It is currently in development — join the early access list above to be notified at launch.
Which areas are covered?
We currently have live guides for Sutton (South London) and Hertfordshire (SW Herts & Dame Alice Owen's) and Barnet (North London) and Bromley (South East London) and Redbridge (Ilford & Woodford) and Kingston upon Thames (Tiffin) and Berkshire (Reading, Windsor & Maidenhead) and Essex (Chelmsford & Colchester). A further 18 areas are in research across England and Northern Ireland, publishing throughout 2025 and 2026.
Do you cover Northern Ireland (GL Assessment / AQE)?
Northern Ireland is on our roadmap. The guide will cover the AQE and GL Assessment tests used by grammar schools there. Sign up for notifications on the area listing.
