The GPS paper tests a wide range of grammatical knowledge acquired across KS2:

• Identifying and using word classes: nouns, adjectives, verbs, adverbs, determiners

• Correct use of commas, apostrophes, colons, semi-colons and brackets
• Formal and informal register; active and passive voice
